When I was a child, my parents always brought me to recreation to the interesting place, such as: Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Kebun Raya Bogor and Dunia Fantasi. I was felt very happy, when I remember these moments. I give thanks to god, because I was in fortunately family. I still get wealth enough and can offer it to people.
A few years later, my family got financial problem, so that I wanted to change this condition with found out alternative how to get much more money. I tried to take part time job at the Pizza Hut as waiters.
Nowadays, I give thanks to Allah SWT, because has created me became a good person, and give me a miracle, so that I can fix this problem. I realize all of the people can get a success, if can do the best as can as we do.
I hope my family in the future will be better than before. I have to hard work to make it true and make my parents proud of me.

Special Person

My Mom
When I told about family, I always remembered my mom. In my family, I also have father, and three brothers. For me the main role in my family is my mother. Without her, I cannot do anything. She makes me proud of her. Now, let’s read my essay about my mother.

My mom is a kind person. She always support me everything that I need. When I was down, she always available, however, sometimes I didn’t care with my mom and often make her sad. Slow but sure, I realize that my mom is the most important person in my life. I promise that I will not make her sad and give her the best thing that I can do.
In this moment, when someone talks to me, who is your favorite idol? I will say my favorite idol is my mother because she always gives me spirit in my life. She never make me disappointed and almost in my journey of life.
When I remember her, I also say for God, “Give me a chance to make my mom happy”. If I got success and my mom still life, I am going to do something to my mom that is give pay to going Hajj, because long time ago she had the dream and hope someday her dream come true.
Now, I try to give her happiness, however I will never can do that, because too much that she did for me since I was a child till now, so I just can hard work and pray for god, so that I successful to do the best for her.

My Hometown

Batusangkar the Culture City
My name is Muhammad Hafiz Arifkhan. I am student in University of Padang. My subject is English. I believe English is the best subject in University of Padang, because many lecturers of English department graduated from foremost universities in Europe and America. When we talk about University of Padang, almost all of the students come from cities in West Sumatra And I also from a city in West Sumatra. I come from Batusangkar. Friend, do you know Batusangkar?

Batusangkar is the Village that has many cultures. If talk about the history of Minangkabau and want to know the culture of minangkabau, we can come to Batusangkar. Batusangkar has beautiful landscapes and beautiful cultures. We can find Istano Pagaruyung there. Istano Pagaruyung looks like a palace or castle. In Istano Pagaruyung, we also find the history about Minangkabau. For example: arts, cultures and traditions. Istano Pagaruyung popular as an educate tourism object.
Anyone wants to learn about Minangkabau, just visit the Istano Pagaruyung. Actually, not only Istano Pagaruyung that popular as a tourism object, many places can be visiting here. I think people who live in Batusangkar is really interesting, because they live with cultures and it is so different with people who lives in the other city.
Actually, I can tell more but it is never enough if I talk about my hometown Batusangkar. I love my hometown and you must come to Batusangkar.

Live in The City or in The Village

People always look for the best place for living. They will not stay in a place for a long time, before they find the best place. Some people choose to live in the city and the others choose to live in the village. Those places have some advantages and there are the different advantages from both places. The purpose of this essay is to contrast climate, types of activities, and location of the city and village.

I am going to discuss city first. The weather in the city commonly is hot, because we rarely to find trees, so that it causes production of carbon dioxides are less. It makes the weather becomes hot. Weather is also influence the activities. Most of people in the city, work in the company and it is impossible to work as farmer, because there is not any empty field. Some people work as entrepreneur. In the city, we can find anything do we need, because all of things is distributed from villages, even from foreign countries to the city.
In the second, I am going to discuss the village. The weather in the village is cold, because there are many trees and mountains around there. People in the village would rather work as farmer, because villages provide many empty field and some people work as a seller in the traditional market. People in the village cannot find something as easy as in the city, because the location of the village is far from the city and the transportation also difficult. So, it is difficult for producer to marketing their things.

From this essay, can be concluded that the city and the village are good place to living, but it depends what the people activities and what they prefer, so that they more efficient to do each activities any time.

My Idol

My Idol
Do you know Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie?Right, he was the third President of Indonesia, holding office from 1998 to 1999. Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie was born in Pare-Pare, South Sulawesi, to Alwi Abdul Jalil Habibie and R. A. Tuti Marini Puspowardojo. He studied at the Bandung Institute of Technology for one year. Although B.J. Habibie himself was born in South Sulawesi, B.J. Habibie's parents didn't come from this region. His father was an agriculturist from Gorontalo and his mother was a Javanese noblewoman from Yogyakarta, who met while studying in Bogor.
During 1955-1965, he studied aerospace engineering at the RWTH Aachen University, Germany, receiving Diploma (Germany's First degree certificate which is equivalent to Master in most countries) in 1960 and doctorate in 1965. He then worked for Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm in Hamburg. It might have been due to his time spent in Europe that made him interested in the Leica line of cameras.
The 1998 People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) General Session was to be held in the midst of the Asian Financial Crisis and many were hoping for Suharto to take serious steps to take the country out of trouble. In January 1998, after accepting nomination for a 7th term as President, Suharto announced the criteria for the person who he wanted as Vice President. Suharto did not mention Habibie by name but his suggestion that the next Vice President should have mastery over science and technology made it obvious who he wanted to nominate.
Although he had been viewed as just leading a transitional Government, Habibie seemed determined to continue as President. In May 1999, Golkar announced that Habibie would be their Presidential candidate.
I feel  so amazed, because when his wife was sick, he always beside her,  Even when his wife die. However he couldn’t hold tear of his eyes.I mean nowadays not any one person who like him .
